Psychogeographeress

my ma dissertaiton was a play on lauren elkin’s book flâneuse: Women Walk the City in Paris, new york, tokyo, venice, and london & was titled ‘psychogeographeress: gender troubles in british psychogeography’ – about masculinity and femininity debates within this highly contentious so-called genre.
the dissertation was dedicated to my nan, nim moffit-owen, and starts with the above kodak-snap she took of a street florist in paris on a school trip around the year 1953 (permission granted). thank you darling nim, i love you forever.
