Wow! Well, in 2019 D. P. HUNTER WAS TALKING ABOUT HIS REALLY GOOD BOOK CHAV SOLIDARITY VERY MOVING. SOON HE STARTED UP THE JOURNAL BASED ON THIS DEFINITION FOR THE PUBLICATION OF POOR & WORKING-CLASS WRITERS. D. P. Hunter & i went to a conference in birmingham called ‘literature must fall’ at the impact hub on oxford street in birmingham which was really great and then i wrote a poem for the first issue of lumpen and then there was a lapse FOR a number of years and then i wrote more poems for lumpen: a journal for poor and working-class writers which you can find in issues eleven, guest-edited by fran lock, and twelve, with illustrations, and purchase here. there was a launch at freedom press bookshop in whitechapel on 1st december in 2022, where dorothy spencer made potent mulled wine while readings were given thank you.
