bird watch at cat
as a resident woodsman at the centre for alternative technology, where the anti-psychogeographer patrick keiller once worked, for six months across the winter i was entrusted to make a, b-ilingual, bird-identification display in collaboration with the rspb (Thank you to supervisors rob goodsell and petra weinmann). each bird went up in a small sitting-booth near the ‘heart’ of the centre, where birds gathered occasionally to be watched by visitors. my friend of the later house of virtue, meg stuart, painted the bird hide nearby, in red and yellow.
