telephone!
I played a game called telephone i was invited by my friend the artist dorry spikes, & so glad! telephone is a pass-it-on game, a chain of re-interpretations of an original whisper. you can find mine here! and read about the general premise of telephone here!
last time the aesthetics was much less esoteric and magical than the one nathan langston (telephone director) & co. have obviously gone for. curio!
mine is in the category of ‘literature’, taking nod from another in the category of ‘sculpture’ and then being passed onto another in the category of ‘painting’. i ❤ carolina-escobar-from-phoenix-arizona’s sculpture, which I’d obviously seen before making my literature, but i’d not yet seen jackie-avery-from-portland-oregon’s painting and it is just gorgiss.
la, la, thank you telephone

p.s. the portrait i’ve used (via link above) is a couple of years old, from when i lived in the house of virtue with my friends meg & hattie and was all scruffy + confuze’d
