Mi sgwennais i “Traed moch” tra’n adlewyrchu ar y clawstroffobia a brofwyd yn ystod y pandemig — darn a luniwyd gan feddyliau myfyriol a’r teimlad o fod wedi’ch cloi dan do, wrth symud tuag at ei wrthwenwyn: camu allan, i natur a golau’r haul. Cyfyngiad / rhyddhau; llonyddwch mewnol yn erbyn tynfa eang y byd naturiol sy’n ein hamgylchynu.

I wrote “Traed moch” in reflection of the claustrophobia experienced during the pandemic — a piece shaped by ruminating thoughts and the feeling of being locked indoors, while gesturing toward its antidote: stepping outside, into nature and sunlight. Confinement vs release; interior stillness vs the expansive pull of the natural world that surrounds us

Gwrando ar y byd yn mynd heibio,
gwrando ar y gwylanod yn crio.

Pwyllgor pen y carchar meddwl,
haid o wenyn uwchben.
Tro dy wyneb ar yr haul,
a syrth y cysgodion tu ôl i ti
